Bernadette Flory is the Founder and Director of two small businesses located in New Canaan, Connecticut.  F&N Business Service Center, established in 2000, is a secretarial and bookkeeping service that leases office suites and assists contractors and small business owners with many aspects of their day to day operations.
Bright Ideas Tutoring/College Preparatory Alliance provides one-on-one tutoring to students in kindergarten through 12th grade in a wide range of academic subjects and standardized test preparation.  We do extensive SAT and ACT test prep tutoring, and offer a full range of College Placement Services, including the availability of our in-house Psychologist.
Bernadette holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Manhattan College, where she graduated with a BS in Psychology.
Prior to establishing her own businesses, Bernadette worked in marketing and business development at The Search Alliance in Norwalk, Connecticut for five years.  This experience allowed her to develop her entrepreneurial skills, as she was responsible for all aspects of recruiting and training new employees, defining the company’ marketing position, and expanding into new markets.  Earlier, Bernadette work as an Assistant to the Chairman and President of UST in Greenwich.
Her background, in executive administration has stimulated Bernadette’s interest in developing programs to help children reach their potential through academic success.  Bernadette also takes great pride in her four grown children and has long been active in her community as a member of the Wilton Football Booster Board, PG Committees, PTA and as co-chairman for the National MS Society Fashion Show Fund Raiser, and The Wilton Arts Council.
